Okay, so one day I just sat down and started building this purely out of a desire to build something studless. And this ship is completely studless, unless those studs on the ends of the cone pieces count, in which case I'm screwed.

This guy was also an excuse to use up some of my yellow and orange pieces. That's why I gave it a flame theme and color scheme.

Strange landing gear, eh? I think they worked out nicely, myself. The cockpit folds down and acts as part of the landing gear.

This ship is the personal vehicle of Zegaldorph, Lord of Mordark. Zegaldorph is a Mahlok, a species that can produce fire from their skin. He had this ship, the Afterburner, made especially to suit his desires.

Zegaldorph loves fire and speed, so he had the ship designed to be a fast as possible, colored like flames, and have a flaming engine just like he likes.

Here he is getting swallowed up into the cockpit.

This fighter is one of the fastest out there. Zegaldorph sometimes enters racing competitions with it, and he rarely loses.

One person told me this ship looked so bulky yet smooth, and so red and yellow, that it looked almost like a Jack Stone set. I suppose that's an unfortunate side effect of being studless.

Here is the back. I felt like I had to find some kind of use for those giant yellow flaps on Anakin's Jedi Starfighter after I tore it up.

You do, of course, notice the flame colors... how they fade from yellow to orange to red? I thought so.

I ran out of RED cones right at the end. Heh.

The ship has a secret feature... it can fly BACKWARDS! This is the rear "cockpit."

But why, you may ask, would you want to fly it backwards? Well, Zegaldorph is a pyromaniac, remember?

So he had Firestorm cannons installed on either side of the main engine thruster to enhance and control the flames, thus turning the ship into a giant flamethrower!

LEGO flames, much like the fire sprites in Half-Life 2, are not very impressive from above.

BURN! Burn in the fires of the Inferno!!! HAHAHAAA... ha... ha. Okay, I guess I like fire too. It's the best of the four Elements.
