The Lynx is the smallest combat-use walker in the Victorian army. It is
fast, agile, and sure-footed, and has enough firepower to hold its own
against most foes. This is why Victory uses it a lot in combat situations
(as opposed to Xarkon's Fox, which is usually only used on scouting
missions).
The Lynx's jump boosters may appear small in comparison with the rest of
the vehicle, but it is actually capable of much longer distance flights
than most larger walkers. Not as far as the Fox, however.
This small walker's antennas serve a purpose similar to that of the Xarkon
Fox's radar dish "ear." They are used for detection and long-distance
communication. They also look like the tufts of fur on a Lynx's ears. Duh.
Ever since I discovered how great Bionicle legs were for walkers, I've
been experimenting with them for that purpose. This is one design I came
up with. It would look better if I owned some of those little bracket
pieces in a color besides that burnt orange, but I don't. Hey, just
pretend its an oddly-colored mechanical device of some obscure purpose.
Most mechanical devices have a few oddly colored pieces on them somewhere.
Like the Fox, the basic design of the Lynx has changed little over the
years since I first invented it. I first came up with the basic design
years and years ago.
The Lynx's weapon arms are mobile, allowing for pinpoint accuracy at close
ranges.
Trying... to... stand... on one... leg!
There! Uh, does this count?
Cozy like a coffin.
Enough controls for you? Probably not...
The Victorian Lynx vs. the Xarkon Fox! Who would you put your money on?
